With sound effects by local producer, Ajani Abstrakt, and flavor from Minnesota’s own Candyland Chicago Mix popcorn, Essence Bonitaz will draw you into the world of Ajha’s Web as she reads from her debut novel, set in the Twin Cities. Guest artist, Ericka Dennis, will join Essence to share an excerpt from the upcoming Ajha’s Web sequel. There’ll be a brief Q&A followed by a book signing, and attendees will have a chance to win a $10 raffle for any Black Garnet Books purchase.
